IndiNature engaged with £10m Biomanufacturing Research Hub proposal

May 11, 2018

Thank you to U of Edinburgh for including IndiNature as a stakeholder for this proposed hub. I spent the morning there today as part of a consultation with the university as it seeks to win this funding call with 4 other university partners. Incredibly exciting work going on in this field - biological solutions are the way forward. As a company with the need to secure a high yield supply chain not only for our crop aggregates but also our biological binders in our 100% bio-based system, IndiNature is seeking a local source rather than importing. We now have a particular biological binder which is working for our products as they go to market, but we are also continuing research with several other potential binders and processes to make sure we keep ahead of the curve and optimise both cost and performance and ecological impacts.
