May 18, 2018

On 22-25th May you are invited by Skills Development Scotland (SDS) and Zero Waste Scotland (ZWS) to participate in a Circular Economy Business Breakfast Focus Group Event in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness.

As a start-up, IndiNature will talk on 22 May in Edinburgh about the company's experience of developing a circular business model in the bio-manufacturing sector.

The aim of those events is to gather information, facts and opinions from a knowledgeable audience to support the development of a Circular Economy in Scottish manufacturing.

The Edinburgh event will be facilitated by Iain Findlay, Dr. Isabella Guerrini de Claire and Katherine Maxwell. Aurora Sustainability Consulting and Partners have been contracted by Skills Development Scotland (SDS) in partnership with Zero Waste Scotland (ZWS,) to deliver a research project to assess the future skills requirements for circular economy activity, within the Scottish manufacturing sector (e.g., engineering, textiles, construction and energy) and identify how businesses effectively integrate the circular economy concept into their business models and processes. This exploration will contribute to a larger research project aimed at increasing the competitiveness of Scotland’s Manufacturing in the Circular Economy through enhancing current education and new skills development. The events are supported by the partners Urban Transitions, Innodriven and Circular Economy Club CEC.
