What fantastic commitment to IndiNature. Team members have invested more private cash into the company to help match new state grants. It's a great feeling knowing the team is all driven to see the company succeed and make one of the biggest impacts on the climate and the environment in the UK.
Here's a photo of our board welcoming Gary Deans into the fold as our new CFO at the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation in Edinburgh where we have our office. Hitting the road running in our first board meeting of 2019. From left to right: Susanna Gray (administration / bus. dev.), Gary Deans (CFO), Scott Simpson (MD & Co-founder), Sam Baumber (Non-exec & Co-founder) and Ewan Mealyou (Non-exec & Co-founder).
A great core team, with a broader support team around us including Dylan Price (our current NERC funded research intern), Mark Dobson (Arcata Accountants), Lisa Adamson and Laura Service (ilka Design - our marketing and design team), Clive Clarke (construction contractor), Bill Watt (Scottish Enterprise Account Manager), the team behind Scottish Enterprise's Unlocking Ambition support programme led by Alison Loveday and a big network of technical consultants including architects, engineers, farmers and colleagues in the natural fibre manufacturing sector.
This year we'll be growing our production and technical team.
Thank you to everyone - this is going to be a great year as we secure more investment and move towards production.
