About IndiNature and the new mill

IndiNature is a growing company with a high profile - leading the way in cleantech construction material innovations. It was founded to make the largest possible positive impacts on the climate, the environment and people's health in the construction of buildings. We care about people and the planet.

The parent company (Industrial Nature Ltd) is based in Edinburgh - it is a materials R&D company focused on developing and bringing to market natural, low carbon construction products. The company set up its first manufacturing facility in the Scottish Borders and moved into a building in August 2021. The IndiNature Mill makes natural fibre materials on scale including insulation batts and boards.

Raw materials include industrial hemp from UK farmers and other recycled natural fibres. These are processed through a non-woven textiles production line.
